Cast On Comb Wire - 36” Long - 4.5mm Ribber. These wires are used exclusively on ribber cast on combs and have a curled bent end for removal and installation. The wire is used to "hang" the cast on comb to the knitted piece for weight. They are required to attach the knitted piece to the cast on comb to provide tension on the knitted piece. This provides weight to keep proper flow and allow consistent gauge in the knitted piece when knitting.

Long Cast On Comb Length: 39" OAL. Can be shortened to fit a short ribber cast on comb.

Short Cast On Comb Length: 36" OAL
