Garden of Wisdom's Petitgrain Hydrosol is floral water produced during the steam distillation of the leaves and young twigs of the bitter orange tree (Citrus aurantium). It shares some aromatic compounds with petitgrain essential oil, but it's a milder and less concentrated version of the oil. Hydrosols, or floral or plant waters, are gentler alternatives to essential oils and can be used for various purposes. Here are some properties and uses of petitgrain hydrosol:
