The breed traces back to the early 19th Century with records showing the breed orginating from the West Midlands, UK. This hardy looking breed creates a brilliantly white wool and is famed for ue in cloth and knitwear throughout Europe.
Our Shropshire wool is wonderfully consistent with very little kemp.
It's bulky and bright nature lends itself perfectly to dyeing, spinning and felting.
