And though the goth-metal dicks’ seventh full-length sounds fittingly funereal, this had obviously always been the vibe for the Drab Four. Between its faster-paced and punky pieces and depressively heartbroken gloom-ballads (“She Burned Me Down”), it remains a solid epitaph for one of metal’s most breathtaking outfits.
