LX48 by Caswell Massey is a Leather fragrance for Men. 

LX48 is an intoxicating composition of violet, freshly-cut tobacco, well-worn vintage leather, and resinous rare woods. A long-wearing Eau de Parfum, LX48 opens with a subtle accord of dark florals that gives way to a dramatic heart of heady tobacco and dried oakmoss. Aromatic cedarwood and supple vintage leather add depth and warmth to the dry-down of this sophisticated fragrance that has quickly gained a cult following. LX48 is a collaboration with perfumer Jean-Marc Challain, who created the scent inspired by midcentury oak-paneled club rooms and as an homage to Caswell-Massey’s former flagship store on Lexington Avenue and 48th Street. This is where our tradition began of custom-blending bespoke fragrances for special clients and creating signature scent experiences—and our perfumers were known to be the most talented and exceptionally creative in the city. This Eau de Parfum continues that tradition in grand style.
