Arriving six years after their previous LP, 2007’s Anonymous, this one featured production by Black Keys producer Collin Dupuis, allowing for the band’s considerably more focused, tighter and catchier tunes to receive the grand sonic treatment they deserve. It’s ess wacky than most of Patton’s albums, but equally visceral and fun.
