Product Description

Kid Sheik

By Louise Mouton

Sixteenth in the series by Louise Mouton. The banner of notes diagonally dissecting the image is the chorus of the song, "Do You Know What It Means To Miss New Orleans." Above the banner is a collage of items from the by-gone days of 78's and bits of New Orleans architecture. On the lower left is Kid Sheik, 88 years young at the time of the print's release, whose trumpet traced the arc of New Orleans Jazz almost from its birth.
