These silk hankies are imported directly from the maker in China. They are premium silk hankies, light and beautifully pulled. There are about 14 to 20 thin hankies per ounce
Each silk hanky is one cocoon which is one continuous thread of pure silk.
They dye beautifully with acid dyes. You can kettle dye them or hand paint and steam them.
You can "pull" a roving from a hanky and knit directly from the roving.
The dyed hankies are some that I have dyed. this is for UNDYED HANKIES, NOT THE DYED ONES.
