Cyrano by Daniel Josier is a fragrance for Men. 

Cyrano de Bergerac, a work by Edmond Rostand, is inspired by a real historical figure. This character was a brave soldier, well-known musketeer, poet and philosopher of great temperament and with a remarkable physical characteristic: his large nose. Daniel Josier pays tribute to his favorite literary hero with this fragrance.

Cyrano, with his overwhelming personality and combative spirit, never shied away from a confrontation. The perfume begins with animalic notes, evoking the strength of the character and the atmosphere of his time, full of horses, carriages and stables where plays were staged. Simultaneously, Cyrano is a poet who hides a deep love for Roxanne, a feeling he keeps secret due to his insecurity about her appearance. This romantic facet of Cyrano is reflected in the heart of the perfume with a floral bouquet.

Only in her last moments does Roxanne discover that Cyrano has always been her true love, a revelation that comes just before his tragic death in her arms, victim of an attack. This hidden and mysterious love, together with the dark denouement, are reflected in the base notes of oud and patchouli of the fragrance.
