Staff CommentsThe SSF™ Commercial Door Hook is a handy tool for locksmiths and entry specialists, allowing for easy unlocking of Adams Rite style locking hardware without having to touch the lock cylinder. While the tool may not be the most durable, it can be a valuable asset when used correctly and paired with additional tools like an air wedge or prybar.

This expansion kit for the Covert Companion allows you to open Adams Rite style locking hardware (the most common storefront locks in North America) by hooking the actuating mechanism, and directly unlocking the bolt… There’s no need to touch the lock cylinder. This is an absolute “must have” bypass tool for any locksmith or entry specialist.

NOTE! These tools when used correctly will last for several openings when employed by experienced users. The tool however, is made of thin material which may bend or break when not used correctly. This is a consumable tool that is non refundable. If the operating arm loosens in use, simply squeeze the rivet with a pair of pliers to adjust tightness. 

Using an air wedge or prybar will greatly increase the worklife and utility of this tool especially in tight fitting doors.
