The GrimmSpeed Stubby Shift Knob is for car enthusiasts that prefer a shift knob that's on the short and stubby side. This knob is threaded for all manual Subarus with a thread pitch of M12x1.25, and will work with both 5- and 6-speed manual transmission models. It is recommended to purchase a shift boot retainer if installing it on a 5-speed model.

Our short body shift knobs come in two materials: stainless steel and delrin and are designed to work with the stock reverse lockout.
Stainless Steel
Machined from solid 304 stainless steel right here in Minnesota, the GrimmSpeed Stainless Steel Stubby Shift Knob is a great edition to your Subaru or Ford's interior. The perfect mixture of refinement and functionality. Weighting in at 600g, this knob will add an aggressive weighted feel each time you shift gears allowing you to shift faster and more smoothly than ever before. Each shift knob is laser etched around the base with the GrimmSpeed log so that you know it's authentic.
Delrin
Our Delrin knob is perfect if you are looking for a more OEM shift feel but still want an upgraded look. Weighting in at 105g, our Delrin knob is a fraction of the weight of our stainless knob but still has all the functionality. Known for its high tensile strength, toughness and durability, Delrin is an ideal material to use for a shift knob. Laser etched around the base as well. Available only in black.
