This was their major label debut for Atlantic Records, and while producer Dave Bottrill (Tool, Mudvayne, Muse) helped flesh their sound out to allow for richer instrumental textures and more focused singing, it’s not in any way a sell-out move by the band, who sound as committed and creative as ever on these songs.
