Glamour Clearcoat Kit

HC4100 is a medium solids clear coat that has excellent flow, leveling and gloss retention. At 45% solids it still provides plenty of film build for the custom and collision industry. As with many of the other Tamco clears HC4100 is manufactured from direct to metal resins. This means clear can be applied directly over properly sanded and cleaned metal where protection from the elements is required.

Q: What is the difference in HC4100 & HC2100?

A: HC4100 & HC2100 are both medium solid clearcoats & both are also pretty user friendly. HC4100 is our top selling clearcoat.

Q: Do I need to reduce HC4100?

A: Most painters do not need to reduce HC4100. While we do not recommend it, you can reduce HC4100 5- 10% with our HR 1370, 1380 or 1390 Urethane Reducer.

Q: What is the difference in HC4105 & HC4100?

A: HC4105 is designed for hot & humid climates. If you are spraying over 90+ degrees, switch to HC4105 for summer. If you are not above 90 degrees, HC4100 is the best option.
