ACT's SB11-XTSS kit features a sprung, performance street clutch disc paired with their ever popular xtreme pressure plate. What does this mean for you? Well, that means that you will have moderate to heavy pedal effort with a smooth engagement and the ability to handle up to 532ft/lbs of torque on your WRX. This clutch kit is best suited for street and race use.
ACT Xtreme pressure plates use exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load, reduce deflection and maximize clutch life. All diaphragms endure a four-stage, heat-treating process for unparalleled performance. ACT pressure plates have precision cover stampings to provide rigidity and consistency. ACT's Performance street discs are the most popular disc purchased. They feature premium organic materials with high copper content for better heat transfer and steel-backed lining for greater burst strength and durability. These discs have reduced marcel for faster shift action to complement ACT pressure plates. Quiet operation with increased strength and reliability.

FAQ:
Will this have a heavier clutch pedal?
Yep, it'll be stiffer than stock. Definitely manageable for a daily driven vehicle. It will have a smooth engagement with mild clutch chatter.
What kind of torque is this rated to handle?
This clutch is rated at 532ft.lbs to the crank, which equates to around 440-460ft.lbs to the tire :)
Is this clutch right for me?
If you have a stock WRX, Full Bolt On (FBO), mildly upgraded or even if you're brotated, it's all dependent on the amount of torque the car is making.
How long will this clutch last?
This is the magic question. These clutches have lasted tens of thousands of miles, BUT they are a wear item. So it's really dependent on what kind of torque your car is making and how you drive.
