Product Description

Matala offers several top-of-the-line Air Diffuser Assemblies Choices for your pond or Lake. These air diffuser assemblies feature a hollow heavy-duty rugged base that can be filled with sand or gravel. This eliminates the need for bricks and straps to get the diffuser to sink. Available in both a single disc, dual disc, or quad disc assemblies. The lower profile units are designed to be used with Ponds. The higher profile units (where the diffusers sit on top of a riser) are designed to be used with lakes with muddy bottoms. The Air Discs are held up out of the mud with a riser pipe.

The base comes with a friendly multi-barb that will allow connection to various sizes of air hose including 3/8", 1/2", 5/8" and 1".The Matala EPDM disc diffusers are designed for industry heavy-duty installation. Precision perforated I-shaped slits open when airflow is present and close when airflow is stopped, which increase the slits resist from tearing, and stay cleaner longer. These diffusers offer the lowest back pressure in the market, only adds less than 6 inches of water depth back pressure, allowing you to utilize your air pump in the most efficient way.
