Tricks for Ensuring the Lamp Stays Submerged: We've seen customers get very creative with their installs. Ultimately anything you come up with will work as long as it stays constantly submerged, has some water flowing by it, and is out of visibility from humans or animals.
Filter Box/Skimmer Method (ideal first choice if possible): Place the lamp in your filter box. Use zip ties to secure it to the side of the box.
Zip Tie Method: Tie the bulb in an upwards or horizontal position to something heavier, such as a rock or the side of the tank. This will keep the lamp submerged and stable.
Milk Crate Method: place the UV inside a Milk crate that is submerged underwater and has water flowing through it.
