Featured again in 2024 because this lotus is truly outstanding!

THE BEST - IT BLOOMS AND BLOOMS AND BLOOMS!

Yes, you really want this lotus! Possibly the best blooming lotus at the nursery with multiple flowers all through the summer. Starts early and blooms until summer is over!

Super has such beautiful color and form. Open this lotus by hand when the bud gets big and fat for a perfect flower every time. The first day flower is mostly pink, the second day flower is white with pink tips and the third day flower is perfectly draped and solid white. It has a lovely fragrance, too!

*Don't have room for a large lotus? Try Phoenix Feather 13. The flowers are almost identical to Super in color and shape but the plant is a small/medium height. You can also open the flowers by hand just like Super!

Flower Color: Changeable

Plant Height: Tall, 48" and taller

Flower Type: Multi-petal, more than 50 petals

Pot Size: 20" and wider, 12"-18" deep

How do I fertilize lotus? When do I fertilize my lotus?

Wait until the lotus plant has several floating leaves or begins to put up aerial leaves before adding fertilizer.

Choose a good fertilizer such as Waterlily World Tablets, Pondtabbs or Landon's Aquatic Fertilizer and follow the instructions carefully.

The amount of fertilizer to use is usually based on the size of the pot and the amount of soil in the pot. For example, most of the small tablets are added at a ratio of 1-2 tablets per gallon of soil in the pot. Once the lotus has started to grow vigorously tablets can be added every 3-4 weeks.

Stop fertilizing in late summer to allow the lotus to use up all the fertilizer in the pot before going dormant. This encourages the lotus to form better tubers.
