This unique Nymphaea 'Wanvisa' Pink & Yellow Hardy Lily features strikingly variegated flowers in orangy pink, finely striated and speckled with yellow. The salmon-pink petals are streaked with white/cream, creating a variegation never before seen in a hardy waterlily. This beautiful hybrid, from hybridizer Dr. Nopchai Chansilpa, combines peachy-reds and yellows for sumptuous shades of apricot, peach, and pink.
Wanvisa is a good bloomer with pads heavily speckled with deep bronze and bright green. It has vigorous and compact growth habits, making it a great choice for most water gardens. This award-winning waterlily was the winner of the 2010 IWGS Best New Water Lily of the Year award and also the winner of their Collector's Aquatic Plants of the Year for 2011.
The Wanvisa Hardy Lily can be planted in depths of 12-15" over the crown and prefers 6-8 hours of direct sunlight. It flowers throughout the summer and grows fast, spreading 3-5 feet with a minimum spacing of at least 2 feet. This Nymphaea Hybrid thrives in full sun, requiring at least 6 hours of sunlight per day. It is suitable for zones Z3-Z11 and prefers to be submerged in depths of 12-24 inches underwater.
