Coal Miner 'Elephant ear' has heart shaped leaves, and tops out at a height 54" tall. The look of this plant seams to mourph creating the look of many other colocasias as it matures. Allowing the enjoyment of its changing nature until it becoming a dark velvet coal lookalike with a smoky undertone appearance. Makes a dramatic statement for your pond as well as a great conversation piece. Emerges from hibernation earlier then most generally by late March. Full sun to part shade. Zone 7
