Basecoat Hardener

Tamco Basecoats may be mixed conventionally at a ratio of 1 parts color to 1 part HR reducer. However, for added durability, the addition of a hardener is sometimes recommended. Adding a hardener significantly improves adhesion of the basecoat to the clearcoat. For added durability on exterior parts, or to meet certain OEM specifications, you may have to use HH-57 to catalyze Tamco Basecoats.
