Blushing Bride Lotus (Bare Root) is a stunning Ten Mile Creek hybrid featuring big flowers in a lovely bridal pink color. The flower resembles a bride's bouquet with large outer petals and a frilly ball of inside petals. This lotus can grow up to 8' tall, making it a focal point in any garden or pond setting. Flower Color: Pink, Plant Height: Tall, 48" and taller, Flower Type: Multi-petal, more than 50 petals, Pot Size: 20" and wider, 12"-18" deep.
When it comes to fertilizing your lotus plant, we recommend waiting until the plant has several floating leaves or begins to put up aerial leaves before adding fertilizer. Choose a good fertilizer such as Waterlily World Tablets, Pondtabbs, or Landon's Aquatic Fertilizer and follow the instructions carefully based on the size of the pot and the amount of soil. For slow-release fertilizer like Nutricote 14-4-14, follow the amount directions on the package and place the fertilizer around the bottom of the pot. Do not use 360-day fertilizer as it will release fertilizer for too long and may hinder rhizome formation when the plant goes dormant.
