The very last thing that you want to worry about with your pond is having to locate a leak in the liner. When prepping your site to place new liner down for your pond project, protecting the liner by placing underlayment down underneath it is the best insurance policy you can have for your liner.
Many geotextile underlayment that you will find are 4oz, while this PIK Underlayment is double the density at 8oz. If an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure... then this is just what the doctor ordered.
Underlayment will be fabricated to meet the size that you specify, with seams at 12 or 15'.
